The Triple Amalthea Vase is handmade by shaping paper mache over a variety of recycled items, including the top parts of three milk jugs, giving it its beautiful shape with three small handles. We are obsessed with repurposing and giving new life and to recycled objects, by designing their forms into new contexts. While very lightweight, the material is sturdy and hard. It is finished in a textured dark red color and then sealed with acrylic matte medium.

This vase is a wonderful bright accent piece and looks great with some dried flowers or other decor. While it is sealed, this item is not waterproof, so is not suitable to hold water or live flowers, and is not food grade.

Care Instructions:

While our paper mache items are sealed they are not water friendly. You can use our items to store dry or artificial flowers, various décor, jewelry, keys, etc.

·       Do not use to serve food, the surface is not food grade

·       Use indoors only

·       Place only on dry surfaces

 

Cleaning:

If you need to clean the surface it is best to wipe down with a dry cloth. If necessary, a slightly moistened cloth can be used to wipe off a stain.
