Pattern: Sun in Brick Red

The Sophia Plate/Tray is handmade by shaping paper mache over recycled items. It is hand painted with a beautiful sun pattern in brick , with a moss green rim and back, and finished with a patina of white paint bringing out the natural texture of the paper, and giving the piece its distinctive aged look. While very lightweight, the material is sturdy and hard. It is sealed with acrylic matte medium.

This plate/tray is a wonderful accent piece and looks great with some fruit, jewelry, keys, or miscellaneous decor. While it is sealed, this item is not waterproof, and is not food grade. Please keep in mind that due to the nature of the process and the drying of the material, the finished product has irregularities and may not be perfectly flat or symmetrical, these qualities only add charm and personality to each unique item.
