Sophia Plate/Tray in Wind
The Sophia Plate/Tray is handmade by shaping paper mache over recycled items. It is hand painted with a beautiful spiral pattern in moss green, with a pink clay rim and back, and finished with a patina of white paint bringing out the natural texture of the paper, and giving the piece its distinctive aged look. While very lightweight, the material is sturdy and hard. It is sealed with acrylic matte medium.
This plate/tray is a wonderful accent piece and looks great with some fruit, jewelry, keys, or miscellaneous decor. While it is sealed, this item is not waterproof, and is not food grade. Please keep in mind that due to the nature of the process and the drying of the material, the finished product has irregularities and may not be perfectly flat or symmetrical, these qualities only add charm and personality to each unique item.

Care Instructions:
While our paper mache items are sealed they are not water friendly. You can use our items to store dry or artificial flowers, various décor, jewelry, keys, etc.
Please follow these guidelines to ensure that your piece stays in great shape for many years to come:
· Keep away from water and high humidity areas
· Do not use to serve food, the surface is not food grade
· Use indoors only
· Place only on dry surfaces
Cleaning:
If you need to clean the surface it is best to wipe down with a dry cloth. If necessary, a slightly moistened cloth can be used to wipe off a stain.
